A fresh save's first egg was labeled Common nerd mosquito. At 100% fed it paid 18 cash per second in that session. Another run's first grown mosquito paid about 30 per second, so treat 18 as one finished reading, not the only possible common. Like every base mosquito, it pays roughly a tenth of its finished rate until the feed bar is full, and it stays at the base instead of fighting.

Hatch any larva from a first-area boss. Those drops are all common, and a common egg was ready in about 7 seconds.

Feed it to 100% before you buy anything expensive. Retire it once a Punk or Chicken is fed. It is the wrong mosquito to pour a long sit into after your income has jumped.
